I would recommend getting the applicator and filling the fibres in one of them for a more accurate application of the fibresI think tapping the bottle wastes too much of the product.I use this to cover my cow lick thinning patches/ only a small area and it does a great job...it stays in and lasts.

I have been looking for a decent alternative to Toppik hair fibres. Toppik (in my opinion) is the best on the market, but they just keep hiking the price up. I suffer from horrible female hair loss and cannot live without these hair fibres. Ive tried many and these ones are definitely the best alternative to Toppik I’ve tried so far. I have dark brown hair - but I read the reviews here first which stated that the dark brown had a reddish tinge. So I opted for the black fibres and they look good in dark brown hair. I attached some pictures so you can see the result. I am very happy with these fibres. I will definitely keep using these as an alternative to Toppik. Are they as good as Toppik? No, but they are definitely the next best thing.

Right - so my first amazon review. And I am only doing this so that you may learn from my mistakes and adopt a good method for applying.Firstly - my hair is dark brown / black. I ordered the dark brown product first and it was no good. As per previous reviews the product does have a red tinge. I would say that if you dont mind black (and it blends of course) then go for that.The black is a whole different kettle of fish - it actually works very well when applied properly. I've been using Nanogen for years, but when I worked out the approximate spend during this period it was quite horrifying. Hence the desire for a cheaper alternative.This is that alternative and I would actually say its better. I also looked at my hair through mirrors outside in daylight and you seriously cannot tell there is product on the hair - as you may or may not be aware different lighting will show the hair up differently - natural sunlight being the most revealing!.These are my steps for best application.1. When you apply make sure its in a proper container (like nanogen etc) otherwise you're fighting a losing battle.2. make sure your hair is dry - if you use regain allow it to dry fully.3. start sprinkling on scalp in methodical fashion - this comes with practice4. pat down (essential) - ensure its 'off the surface' and within the body of the hair (well whats remaining!)5. THEN brush in a steady fashion to style your hair - apply wax / clay to front and side - a little on top if you wish but you'll get black hands!6. Use a fixing spray - cheap hair spray is ALL you needboom - get on with your daytip - avoid night vision cameras - it see's straight through it as if no product is even applied!!!

These hair fibres are great. I actually buy medium brown and dark brown and mix the packets together to match my hair colour. Do a great job of hiding my thinning hair issue.
