12V 2A UK Power Supply Adapter AC 100-240V to DC 12V Transformer 2.1mm X 5.5mm with 4ft/1.2m Lead, for LCD, Router, Security Camera

This was used by me on a small preamp for a vinyl player. I chose to buy it because it was the right amperage and voltage for the job. Just connected it - and hey presto! It has the standard barrel connector pin size (6.5mm) (to the preamp), and a three pin square plug for UK mains.No apparent overheating. No problems.It was a good find for me/Peter

I bought this for my Celestron Nexstar 5se as I wanted to look into something cheaper rather than spending £30 on the official Celestron plug. As this plug meets the specifications of the Celestron plug and is CE certified I was satisfied it would be fine.It is well made and good quality and meets the requirements for being a regulated power supply at 12v 2A with a centre positive adapter plug with 5.5mm external and 2.1mm internal dimensions. It fits nice as snug with no movement in the telescope socket.As hoped power was fine and no issues.

This is a replacement power unit for my humax per, it does the job well.

Just as I ordered

Does as you'd expect. Connection is slightly loose compared to another 2.1mm jack I have, so either the barrel is slightly over 2.1mm or the retaining spring isn't as strong.
