This would definately capture the noise from the flat above. However, It does not have a history log so time, date and location would need to be done manually by yourself. if you want to capture these attributes then you would need a much more expensive device. But this unit will instantly capture any sounds as it is suppossed to do. i hope this helps. **Q: Can the noise recordings/information be downloaded and printed out to show evidence of noise?** A: I do not see any point on the meter which allows downloading. If you are building a case for a noise complaint it is sufficient to write down the readings over a period of time and accompany the results with an explanation of what you did together with a "statement of truth". There is other more sphisticated equipment that you can get but much more expensive. **Q: Is this capable of recording overnight readings and storing them, for finding the 'peak' and mean average?** A: Sorry. This sound level meter can only measuring sound level in real time. Data cannot be recorded overnight since it would be shut down automatically after a while. **Q: Could this be used to measure road noise?** A: Hello, yes. Detection object: ambient noise. Frequency range: 31.5Hz~4kHz, range: 40~130dB ## Frequently Bought Together - Cadrim Digital Sound Level Meter Portable Sound Meter Data Logger Decibel Noise Meter Tester 30-130dB Auto OFF Alarm Function Max/Min Hold Sound Measure LCD Screen 9V Battery Noise Measurement Tester - Duracell Plus 9V Batteries (2 Pack) - Alkaline - 100% Life Guaranteed - Reliability For Everyday Devices - 0% Plastic Packaging - 5-Year Storage - 6LR61 MN1604 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.de/products/48300162-cadrim-digital-sound-level-meter-portable-sound-meter-data-logger](https://www.desertcart.de/products/48300162-cadrim-digital-sound-level-meter-portable-sound-meter-data-logger) --- *Product available on Desertcart Germany* *Store origin: DE* *Last updated: 2026-10-28*
