In the '10MP interpolation' mode they are 3888 x 2588 pixels. I did not find that the picture quality was better in the 10MP mode so did not use it. The images can be re-sized after transfer to a PC using any of the free image resizer tools that are available. **Q: Hi. Can anyone tell me the naming convention this device uses for the files it creates as it scans please?** A: Hi, It produces .jpg files on an SD car formatted to FAT32 or connects directly to the PV via a USB / MSDC cable. A bit old fashioned now but then, so are the slides! **Q: Will this scanner cope with 35 mm slides held in both cardboard slide holders and the older thicker holders that were used in the 60s and 70 s? Thanks** A: No problem with card mounted slides. The only plastic mounted slides (Boots?) I had from 60s/70s were fairly slim and these were OK. I certainly found the capability to scan to SD card was beneficial enabling the scanner to be used in any convenient tabletop location. This made sessions very much easier and quicker, with slides taken from boxes or file folios which could be placed handily alongside. ## Frequently Bought Together - DIGITNOW!High Resolution 135 Film/Slide Scanner, Slide Viewer and Convert 35mm Negative Film &Slide to Digital JPEG Save into SD Card , with Slide Mounts Feeder No Computer/Software Required. - SanDisk Ultra SDHC UHS- I Card - 32GB - SanDisk 32GB SDHC Class 4 Memory Card --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.de/products/47936468-film-scanner](https://www.desertcart.de/products/47936468-film-scanner) --- *Product available on Desertcart Germany* *Store origin: DE* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
