**Q: Hi.. please explain on Mann-Filter C 35 154/1 Air Filter, should I remove the white foam at the bottom or not. Thanks**
A: HP66 is correct. According to the manufacturer,  it's part of the winter climate design. By removing the foam portion you will reduce its design capability and life span. It will still function as an air filter but premature moisture damage to the filter.

A: Shouldn't be a problem in the desert area. Hey baby just a thing for you, is it filters out fine particles such as sand.

**Q: Does this filter fit in 2014 jetta gli 2.0l ea888 3rd gen engine?**
A: I have a 2013 Jetta Sportswagen TDI and it fits perfectly, mine being a turbo diesel not sure about your engine
