Review: Perfect Pancakes and whisked egg whites! - I am very much old school with my baking and love to whip by hand, pause the magi mixer and we can work it out for a moment, I have both the smaller and larger versions of the oxo good grips whisk, both are very tactile and easy to hold, easy to clean and robust. Event with what a 6 year old throws at it on a regular basis. Genuine cupboard staple and wouldn't be without one. Far more expensive in dun elm or online elsewhere to desertcart so this really is a good purchase and competitive too!

**Q: What is the handle made of?**
A: Arubber-like, comfortable handle like other good grip Oxo tools.

**Q: Are the wires flimsy?**
A: The wires are not flimsy.  I have had this whisk for a few years now, and it is going strong.

**Q: How many inches long is the handle?**
A: Wow! Well it's interesting that you will get three different answers here! I double-checked after I read the other two answers below... Mine is 4 7/8" including the metal attachment cuff. The black part is almost exactly 4 inches long. I find this whisk is really comfortable to use. I am a woman with average size hands. The grip is like the name says, good.

**Q: Is this considered a French whisk?**
A: This is not a classic French whisk. I have every whisk known to cooks and I find that this sort of hybrid shape works for just about everything. My 30 year old fav broke so I'm getting this one to replace it.
