Just keep out the air holes and cut to fit not fold and use a sharp knife, pair of scissors and other cutting tools. The texture and pattern are nicely detailed I just had to make sure I match the pattern to make uniform. Once fully attached just use a hair dryer on high as you gently use a ruler to gently press and after done. It can’t stretch and until heated it is as sticky as electrical tape but once heated and on it looks great. It was so much easier than painting and heat resistant to what degree. It is warm to the touch but never burned me. The adhesive is aggressive so make sure you have everything ready when using. It is not crazy about EVA foam but with the type I bought it didn’t work 100% but by adding a metal plate at the end of each section it stayed on. I tested some on metal and it made it water resistant it just wicked off. The ultimate test is a generic body suit. The pattern reflects mass effect and a batman costume. The nicest thing about ordering this is learning it can completely customize my bike and with strategically placed metal plates on a bike helmet I can make unique gear for my new hobby.
