Review: Cheaper than a rebuild, better than the stock engine - Was planning an engine rebuild for my 1985 Honda ATC 200s and after pricing out all the parts to build the engine I wanted it ended up being about twice the price of this engine. It shares the same exact mounting points for any 80s 185cc - 200cc Honda and bolted right up. Had to retrofit a clutch since the original engine was auto clutch and also a battery and starting/charging circuit as expected. Bike now has electric start, reverse and twice the power it used to. I have put this engine through its paces for almost a year with no issues at all. It will spin 22” knobby tires in reverse on dry asphalt and will stand the 300lb bike on wheelies with no problem. Clutch grab is very smooth and runs smoothly at all rpm’s once tuned correctly. Are parts available?** A: X-pro and yes **Q: Will this come with cdi? what will be needed to make it run?** A: no you will need a carb/tailpipe-muffler/wiring harness. **Q: What comes with the motor package** A: Not much just were the adapter for the carburetor the engine it has break in oil in the engine make sure your engines delivered to you up right not laying on its side it does not come with a carburetor does not come with a wiring harness is just the motor itself **Q: Will this work in a 1987 honda 250 atv?** A: I put it in a 1985 200x but all the bolt holes didn't line up 100%. You need to measure your frame to see if it will fit.
