The product is compact - just perfect for a laptop..2. It is simple to use. It only has a wheel for vertical screen movement and a button for setting resolution..3. Power is obtained from a cheap AA battery..4. An ON/OFF button conserve power...DISADVANTAGE.1. Problems are noticeable at 12' and when objects block the line-of-sight to the adapter such as chairs and table legs. The mouse becomes less responsive to movement, and there is a noticeable lag...-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------..UPDATE: Within a month, the effective usable distance was shorten to 5'.
