It provided great protection despite numerous drops. So when I got my new iPad, my first priority was to buy this case. I'm happy with the quality, and the stand is even nicer than the one on my previous case. I really like the fact that it is easy to hold onto so you are less likely to drop your iPad, and it is protected if you do end up dropping it. I also like the fact that the fingerprint reader works with this case. Review: Fits and works well - If you're looking for a good sturdy case, then this isn't a bad choice. The stand is a little clunky. The screen protector can pop off with a good drop. It's not a bad choice, but it's not perfectly rugged. ## Features - Designed and tested to protect against damage from 8-foot (2.4 meter) drops onto concrete - Sealed against dirt, sand, rain and mud - Covered controls, hinged Lightning and headphone ports - Access to fingerprint scanner - Clip-on workstand locks open for viewing or typing ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B073WH61YJ | | Additional Features | Shockproof, Waterproof | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #6,912 in Tablet Cases | | Brand | Griffin | | Color | Black | | Compatible Device Size Maximum | 9.7 inches | | Compatible Devices | iPad 9.7 (2017) | | Compatible Phone Models | iPad 9.7 (2017) | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 276 Reviews | | Enclosure Material | Polycarbonate, Silicone | | Form Factor | Case | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00685387445769 | | Item Dimensions | 10.08 x 0.94 x 7.4 inches | | Item Weight | 0.1 kg | | Manufacturer | Griffin Technology | | Material | Polycarbonate , Silicone | | Mfr Part Number | GB43623 | | Model Number | GB43623 | | Pattern | Solid | | Shell Type | Hard | | UPC | 685387445769 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Water Resistance Level | Water Resistant | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Griffin - **Color:** Black - **Compatible Devices:** iPad 9.7 (2017) - **Form Factor:** Case - **Shell Type:** Hard ## Images ![iPad 9.7 (2017) Rugged case, Survivor All-Terrain with Stand, 4 Layers of Protection, 8ft Drops, Black/Clear - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51l80I1gmhL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Happy with my second Survivor case *by R***R on June 13, 2018* I used the Survivor case on my previous iPad for about 4 years (with heavy, rugged use) and it worked great.
