The startup graphics look a bit dated. But it's straight foward easy to use and makes a big difference for listening to music compared to listening on your mobile phone. Makes listening to music enjoyable again without destracting phone notifications, first piece of electronics I've seen in a long that doesn't require you to create an account to use! ## Features - [Dual Chips] AP80 PRO-X utilizes dual ESS9219C DAC chips with unprecedented dynamic range & ultra-low distortion. +130 dB SNR, +121 dB DNR, -114 dB THD+N, 32 Bit 384 kHz PCM, supports up to 2.0 Vrms output with analog gain control to reduce output noise at listening levels. How sturdy is it? Wondering if it will break easily if dropped.** A: The device is metal. Very sturdy. Maybe possible if you drop it accidentally. **Q: Can this accommodate up to a 1 or 2 tb micro sd card?** A: Before I returned mine I tried a 1TB card only to find it wouldn't read. Largest capacity I could get to work was a standard 400GB card, my high speed 512GB from SanDisk would not read no matter how it was formatted. **Q: Hi, can it read mqa digital files previously downloaded and stored or only trough tidal?** A: Yes, it will play MQA files. I add music via PC connection to AP80 or directly to SDXC card, so not sure re. Tidal. It should work fine that way too. **Q: Can you stream spotify directly from this device?** A: Hi, thanks for your question. You can use this device to connect your phone or computer to use Spotify. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great little Digital Music Player. *by C***R on 28 April 2026* Great little music player. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Unschlagbar *by P***A on 25 July 2023* Habe den AP80 PRO-X nun seit 4 Wochen und bin wirklich begeistert. *by I***1 on 18 May 2019* Kleiner Player mit bisher einwandfreier Bluetoothfunktion im Auto. Schneller Einschaltmodus. ## Frequently Bought Together - AP80 Pro-X MP3 Player with Bluetooth, Support Lossless Digital Music, DAP Portable, Dual ESS9219C Dac Chips, Hi-Res, for HiFi Music Black - Hidizs AP80 PRO-X Leather Case, Custom Made for AP80 PRO-X&AP80 PRO Portable Balanced Lossless MQA Music Player(Black) - SAMSUNG EVO Select Micro SD-Memory-Card + Adapter, 512GB microSDXC 130MB/s Full HD & 4K UHD, UHS-I, U3, A2, V30, Expanded Storage for Android Smartphones, Tablets, Nintendo-Switch (MB-ME512KA/AM) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.de/products/462954699-ap80-pro-x-portable-balanced-lossless-mqa-bluetooth-music-player](https://www.desertcart.de/products/462954699-ap80-pro-x-portable-balanced-lossless-mqa-bluetooth-music-player) --- *Product available on Desertcart Germany* *Store origin: DE* *Last updated: 2026-10-04*
