Review: Great book for the Heidi fan - It's Heidi Klum...Naked, in a huge book. What's not to like if that is what you are assuming the book is. The photography is good, Rankin is a good photographer without doubt. The variety of images are good, some artsy, others not, nothing that screams "trying too hard". Paper is a very nice heavyweight matte finish paper stock. A very different look than typical glossy paper which is what most books would have. I personally like it and is the type of paper I print my "high end art stuff" on when I want to look impressive and artsy. The cover and binding seem fine as expected for a book of this cost. The front cover image is basically a photo glued onto the cover, which is cool, but hope doesn't peal up over time and usage. Some have desired Heidi to reveal a bit "more" in some shots, and hard to argue, but in a way a good teasing is better in the long run so I don't discount it for that reason. Only complaint is I wish Heidi had started creating these style images at a much younger age so the book would cover her throughout her career, from beginning to present day. Oh well.
