It hasn't been put to the test of time or wear yet but it sure made a difference in getting larger dishes off the kitchen counter and stored safely and put in the garage. I chose this brand for its double zippers and the handles on the sides. Before I bought this one I had bought several for wine glasses, which are perfect. They have a lid that folds in half so you don't have to open the whole top to get at a few glasses. Genius. I now have three for glasses, one for dishes (this one) and am giving one as a gift with glasses in it. I do wish these came in other colors so you could glance at them and know which one holds what, but this is not a function of this brand but of this item, in general, apparently.
