It was late. Not the end of the world and not the seller’s fault. Opened the box and meh… they did a nice job with the sheath. The spear point is a point. May be able to sharpen the opposing side but I’d look into local and federal laws where you live. The blade will need sharpening if you’re looking for anything other than self defense. As I plan to use it as such I will leave it as is. I may even ding the blade up for good measure. The knife is full tang and has jimping but the scales weren’t cut to match the jimping. The knife I received has no jimping on the spine where the thumb would go so it is slick… which is what the owner and operator claims will not be. The scales do not line up at all and don’t offer near as much grip as the hype is worth. If you are looking into this knife and the option for the lanyard… skip the lanyard. It is ridiculous. They damage their own sheath to fit it. It will have solid lock up until you remove the lanyard. Then it will not lock up and you’d risk the knife falling out. I got the tanto knife also but from another site. They did not tell me that it has the useless lanyard. For someone training folks to use knives it is terrible that he didn’t think of how he made his sheath utterly useless. I will post pictures and a video of both also.
