I do a lot of metal work so I quench in water briefly and I'm sick of pliers seizing on me** A: 3-in-1 oil, wd-40, p-b blaster, liquid wrench, or like penitrants will work to keep them from siezing and rusting if you put it on as soon as you open up the packaging of the pliers. I do this for every single pliers I get or purchase. To prevent this from happening. **Q: Do these cut acsr** A: I have not personally cut acsr with them. Though they are strong, and ive cut through and twisted multiple 12/2 electrical wire at once, i wouldnt recommend them for acsr. If you were to try it, i wouldnt try it anything bigger than 6AL/1St. But it would probably still be a bit tough to do. ## Frequently Bought Together - Klein Tools D213-9NE Pliers, Made in USA, 9-Inch Side Cutters, High Leverage Linesman Pliers Cut Copper, Aluminum and other Soft Metals - Klein Tools D248-8 Pliers, Made in USA, Diagonal Cutting Multi-Purpose Pliers with Angled Head, High-Leverage Design, and Short Jaw, 8-Inch - Klein Tools 11055 Wire Cutter and Wire Stripper, Made in Usa, Stranded Wire Cutter, Solid Wire Cutter, Cuts Copper Wire --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.de/products/4443285-klein-tools-d213-9ne-pliers-made-in-usa-9-inch](https://www.desertcart.de/products/4443285-klein-tools-d213-9ne-pliers-made-in-usa-9-inch) --- *Product available on Desertcart Germany* *Store origin: DE* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
