Review: Great sound, bass, and clarity from a beautiful speaker! - These Klipsch RP-8000F II tower speakers have been an excellent upgrade to my home system. They have a beautiful walnut finish and look great with the grills in place, or remove them to show off those gorgeous cerametalic woofers! I paired these speakers with an Onkyo NR TX-656 receiver, a Polk PSW505 subwoofer, a Klipsch R-52C center channel speaker, and a pair of Klipsch R-51 bookshelf speakers as surrounds. I am extremely happy with the sound I get with no added EQ. The bass is deep and punchy, the vocals are clear, and the highs are crystal clear. It fills my living room with warm, realistic music and sound effects from action movies. The RP-8000F II's are large speakers, standing 43 inches high. They have sturdy encloses and are very durable. Heavy, too, at 62 pounds each. Setup is easy with the installed binding posts. I used 14-gauge oxygen-free speaker wires and banana clips to make it easy to install or move the speakers. The on-screen menu system in the Onkyo receiver makes configuration and tweaks very simple. These are great speakers for the price, and deliver great sound and functionality in a beautiful package that will look great in your home!
Review: Great sounding speaker! - These speakers are great for music and can handle a wide dynamic range of sounds. I use them mostly for listening to music, but they are great for movie night also. These speakers are large and should not be considered if you have a tight space. The only negative comment I have is that the speakers were damaged each time they were delivered. desertcart was great with the return process, but I eventually had to pick up a pair locally. I purchased the RP-8000F II over a year ago to improve my front stage. After a decade of solid sound from my Pioneer VSX-1122k receiver, I moved up to a Dennon AVR-X4800h for the Dolby Atmos and other enhancements this receiver brings over my old Pioneer. Within minutes of connecting the new AVR to my old speakers it became evident that I must upgrade my front tower speakers. After researching and testing several speakers, I found this speaker to be my choice. The RP-8000F II sounded great out of the box. Since I was home alone for a week, I played my eclectic mix of soft rock, latin jazz, swing, funk and roots reggae for days and watched a few Marvel movies. By the third day there was a noticeable improvement in the sound and the speakers settled in. These speakers can handle a lot of bass and has well balanced mids and highs. After a week of breaking the speakers in, I calibrated the RP-8000F II with the rest of the speakers I had which include a pair of Klipsch SPL-150 subwoofers.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Why is the bass not as low as sp8000f ?**
A: The small decrease in the low end response vs the first generation is negligible. It is due to the cabinet modification - enhanced bracing which decreased cabinet resonance improving low end fidelity!

**Q: Is anyone aware if Klipsch provides warranty (if needed) if we buy at Amazon or with third party vendors?**
A: You will receive full manufacturers warranty on our products if they are purchased from our authorized dealers. For the authorized dealer list please refer to our website.
Thanks!

**Q: Do I set these up as Small since I have two SVS PC2000 subs?**
A: Absolutely! This way you're using the bass management and not cutting the bass from your subwoofers unless all you want to do is play LFE out of the SVS and then no you would not set them to small. Have fun!

**Q: Priced each or per pair?**
A: Thanks for your question. RP-8000F II priced at $899.00 each, $1798.00 for a pair.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ sexy looking speakers without their cover. Solid built and sound amazing!
*by M***. on June 27, 2025*

These speakers sound great, nice clear punch with sparkling highs, very Kliptch like. The finish is very premium and all the binding posts are solid. I had issues with both my units arriving damaged from transit, FedEx must have bang them hard (I dont blame them, these things were very hard to even get them out of the box). I wanted to return them but that would had been a nightmare, the seller was very supportive if I wanted to return them or keep them. These speakers can punch, they sounds very clear at volumes above 110db which I only tested to hear them from far. They are equally clear at levels below 60db. I though they were expensive, had them in my cart for months before I decided/ But once you see them, you realize why they cost 800 bucks, freight alone has to be $100+ of the value with each weight over 25kg. I power them with a Denom 1600h AVR and also with my pro audio 300W 8ohm QSC. QSC has a much better sound, old school amp which I connected to a Schitt Audio DAC to my TV using SPIF cable. At the end I kept the AVR connection for the simplicity of volume control. These speakers are easy to drive, you can probably get away with 40W at 8hm if you dont hear music extremely loud, but these having RMS over 300W at 8ohm, I opted for a bigger amp which I barely tap into all of its power.
