**Q: Is it a gel top coat?**
A: Sorry, I'm not familiar with gel. My experience it is a regular top coat that stays on for longer than other popular brands. I wash my hands very often and I am happy with this product. Only one I use.

This is by far the best base coat I have ever used. The polish doesn't stain and most times I can peel the polish off in one piece. Chips are minimal I recently used OPI's base coat in a pinch because I was out of this one and it was terrible. Most of my polishes are Reds and dark pinks so they're very pigmented. When I used polish remover, it's stained all over my nails as well as my fingertips and didn't peel off like with the MT base coat. I'll never use another base coat
