It usually worked fine, but occasionally would lock up and eventually got to the point of locking up daily and would not reformat. I decided to bite the bullet and order the Nextbase-branded card to avoid frustration. I dislike the significant cost premium, but I have to say so far it is working smoothly. This Nextbase card has a higher read-write speed than the Samsung card, which is more important in my case because the camera is recording two feeds (front and rear) to the card continuously. I suspect the Samsung had trouble keeping up with the data feed. There are other, less expensive microSD's on desertcart that have similar specs to the Nextbase card, but I was tired of dealing with it and figured if the Nextbase card doesn't work, there's a problem with the dashcam since they're by the same company. I very much like my dashcam and don't want to swap it out. Hopefully the extra cost is worth the savings in frustration (so far so good). I thought a flash card was a flash card so I ended up getting the nextbase card and it works just fine now.
