I did physical therapy for a few months with a PT and now continue the exercises at home. Previously I tried using an ordinary square cold pack with an Ace bandage. It's impossible to do yourself, and my partner was not much help. This product is easy to use solo -- I use it every time after VB or PT. I've inflated to a good pressure to get into/out of, so I've removed the tube. It can take a little finesse to get good compression of the cold pack onto the right area, but no problem doing it myself. To be balanced, I wanted to mention a couple of minor issues. 1) The pack doesn't stay cold long -- 15 minutes is pushing it, especially if you have a tight fit on your shoulder.
