Make sure that you have an RTS remote control. My SunSetter awning is approximately 5 years old so there's no reset button on the motor.Turn off or unplug the awning for 2 seconds turn it back on for 5 seconds turn it off again for 2 seconds then turn it back on. The awning will jog out and stay. Press the program button on the back of the remote control and hold it in until the awning jogs again. The remote will now work.
