It has a hard plastic back and lovely soft touch satin front cover in an attractive navy blue which compliments my blue canvas man-bag that I use to carry it when travelling. The magnetic latch is effective and of adequate strength and reliably turns the tablet on and off when it is opened and closed. In summary. This is one of those products that is simple, functional, good quality and attractive. It simple does what it's meant to do reliably and without bells and whistles, and all at a very competitive price and I anticipate years of reliable service from it so comes highly recommended.
