These ingredients are the important factors which make this supplement effective. Of course your body needs other important minerals such as Vitamin E which is why we include it in the ingredients but it is not the main reason this supplement works. The AREDS 2 formula has only 10mg lutein and 2 mg zeaxanthin. We include 20mg lutein and 10mg zeaxanthin.
