The filters are held in place very securely so there is no chance of it coming out and spilling the contents into the water. The capacity (44 oz) is pretty impressive too.I have already made a batch of coffee as well as fresh strawberry water and both were delicious! For some, the coffee might be a bit weak but all you need to do to remedy that, is let it sit a tad longer (mine sat overnight, in the refrigerator).
