He is on comboguard but still go fleas from the mangey squirrels this year** A: For Use for Dogs and Cats: Shake well before each use. To kill fleas, ticks and lice, thoroughly mix 1/2 oz (1 tablespoon) of dip with 1 gallon of warm water. For outdoor animals in areas of severe infestations, 2 oz (4 tablespoons) per gallon may be used. Make fresh solution daily. If animal's coat is very dirty, bathe first with an Adams shampoo. Dip should be applied to dry or damp (not wet) coat. Sponge or dip animal with diluted dip making sure all areas are soaked to the skin. Let dip dry on animal. Do not rinse off! But there are very specific limits to the amount and how often you can use it. I use it on 3 cats and 2 dogs. No problems. Works well for me **Q: Will it stop mange** A: No it does not. There's home remedies for killing mange like olive oil or aloe vera plant as well as over the counter stuff. A visit to the vet will tell you what kind of mange your pet has. **Q: how many dips can I get from this? I have 4 cats.** A: I have a Great Dane and get well over a dozen dips. This is the only flea dip that works for her. It's amazing and does not smell horrid! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works! *by on Reviewed in the United States October 11, 2026* This product is an amazing tool in the war on fleas. I have used it both on my dog and cat and I can honestly say the fleas rolled off into the shower stall. This is a product worth buying if you've got it heavy infestation. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I love this stuff but I don't put it on my cats *by on Reviewed in the United States August 19, 2024* So, I worry about applying strong chemicals on my cats BUT I buy this stuff to get rid of bugs/fleas in my house.SO, what I do is one of two things.I used to take some and put it in my shampooer but it doesn't penetrate carpets well and its hard to measure since it's not a gallon container on the shampooer. So I bought the Chapin 22000 Made in USA Value Pack of 2 Units, 1 Gallon Lawn and Garden Pump Pressured Sprayer, for Spraying Plants, Garden Watering, Lawns, Weeds and Pests, Translucent WhiteReturn or replace items: Eligible I spray the screens in my house, all the flooring and carpets, furniture and pet areas.I give my cats a bath in Dawn and keep them in the bathroom. Meanwhile, while they are locked in the bathroom with food, water, toys and blankets I know are free of fleas because they just came out the dryer. They stay there until it all dries. Then after a few hours I let them out.I don't vacuum or clean it up until the next day. By then after monitoring the cats to see how itchy they are I can tell if I got all if not most of the fleas. It normally works in one shot. I still worry since the dip is still on items even though they are dry but so far, so good. I have been doing this for a few years now.The shampooer is limited to just the flooring. So it doesn't always work and I have to use a spray bottle for the rest of the areas. To me, this dip is a life saver but not in the way it was meant to be. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Use a low concentration for cats, no suds *by on Reviewed in the United States September 23, 2026* Works great to kill the little critters but be careful about the concentration especially when using it on cats. If the concentrationis too strong it can be deadly. If you think the dip was too strong, rinse the cat before letting it air dry and clean itself. There should definitely not be any suds on your cat after the dip it should just it shouldn’t be detectable other than the odour it will burn your cats oral pharyngeal airway. Perform CPT and the cat if it’s having difficulty mobilising its secretions. If your cat is showing excessive licking and or any coughing immediately rinse the cat until all product is gone. Preform CPT on cat to mobilise secretions when you hear your cat gurgling in the months following over exposure. ## Frequently Bought Together - Adams Plus Pyrethrin Dip For Dogs and Cats ; Kills and Repels Fleas, Ticks, Lice, Gnats, Mosquitoes and Flies ; 4 Fl Oz - Adams Flea & Tick Home Spray with Precor, Kills Fleas, Flea Eggs, Flea Larvae, Bed Bugs, Ticks, Ants, Cockroaches, Spiders, Mosquitoes And Many Other Listed Nuisance Pests In The Home, 24 Fl Oz - Adams Plus Flea & Tick Shampoo with Precor for Cats, Kittens, Dogs & Puppies Over 12 Weeks Of Age Sensitive Skin Flea Treatment | Kills Adult Fleas, Flea Eggs, Ticks, and Lice| 12 Ounces --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.de/products/4230682-plus-pyrethrin-flea-dip-for-dogs-and-cats-4-fl](https://www.desertcart.de/products/4230682-plus-pyrethrin-flea-dip-for-dogs-and-cats-4-fl) --- *Product available on Desertcart Germany* *Store origin: DE* *Last updated: 2026-11-02*
