When I got all the tape off which took some time, I looked at the wedge and loved the cover instantly. I put in under my deep full sized sheet and tried it first alone, with a soft pillow I have that's so comfy, and with my bamboo foam pillow and then with both pillows on it. I got the 11" height at the head wedge which is a perfect height for my GERD that is acting up now. Before I use it though, I will air it out in front of my fan in the living room (after removing the SOFT Bamboo cover (I've GOT to find out how to get more of these covers, they're wonderfully soft and has a zipper. I will wash the cover by hand for the first time and let it air dry.) If I wash it next time at the laundry, I will use a delicate cycle I think and low heat setting for a short while then air till it's completely dry. I will use those 2 pillows on top of it (they do not move down) when I am having GERD sympstoms, but when I don't I will just use the wedge pillow as it is a medium firmness with give. It is not rock hard like my last bed wedge I got and have been using for 20 years now. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars This helps me sleep better and I don't even use it. *by E***E on Reviewed in the United States on March 4, 2018* Who'd a thunk that a wedge pillow could help someone with chronic cough sleep better, this is very soft, (would love to be able to purchase extra covers) and seems to be just the correct height for my wife.
