Product Description Ergodyne Chill-Its 6710FR Evaporative FR Polymer Cooling Bandana is filled with super absorptive acrylic polymer that soak up moisture provides instant cooling relief. Reusable, just re-wet to activate. Made with fire retardant fabric that meets ASTM F1506 performance requirements (ATPV rating of 7.1 cal/cm2); classified HRC1 per NFPA 70E. From the Manufacturer Activated polymers bring cooling relief along with FR protection. Soak in water 2-5 minutes to activate

My face will sweat under the respirator, but the top of my noggin has yet to feel really hot in this thing. And so far I havent burnt thru it or lost any hair. Very satisfied.

We ordered three of these, but one was a headband, not a triangle. Wasn't worth the time, effort and expense of sending it back for an exchange. Overall, the cooling part is a gel strip that swells up and sits right under the edge of the hardhat. Not particularly comfortable. Probably won't purchase this again.
