Gives a really good airbrush finish as well. Would definitely recommend as a staple for foundation. **Q: This 2 pc makeup brush bristles looks dense, but is it soft?** A: The brushes are very soft. Great makeup brushes, especially for the price point. I've spent a lot more on "fancy" brands that were nowhere as nice as these. **Q: Does this work as well as Revlon style foundation brush which has a different shape?** A: I've never used the Revlon brushes. But these by far are my favorite brushes when doing my highlighting and contouring. I bought a second set to keep lighter and darker shades separated. They also wash well.
