## Description

We are glad to be offering our product on desertcart. Eggs shipped are collected fresh. We recommend at least 2 dozen purchase if 10-12 chicks are desired. Our Hatch Rate is 85% on average, but this should not be expected with Mail Order Eggs. Our Fertility rate is 95% or better with a 4 female to 1 male ratio. Coturnix Quail grow up to be on average 10-14 oz. Live weight. They also have the capability of laying eggs as young as 6-8 weeks. We try to package eggs as safely as possible, but USPS handles every package differently. If eggs are damaged, you may file a claim with USPS to recover the costs.

Review: It was amazing and just so much fun - This was our first time trying to hatch eggs in an incubator!!! It was amazing and just so much fun. . . . All but 2 of our eggs hatched . . . we could not believe it . . . we had miscalculated the hatch date as there are so many different articles that say 16-21 days. We started thinking they should hatch at 17-18 days . . . they did not!! We were starting to loose hope even though we had candled the eggs (we didn't really know what were doing, so we didn't know if there was a baby quail in there or not, I mean it looked like, but really we didn't have a clue!!).. Anyhow, just as we were beginning to loose hope, I was placing something in the laundry room, were the incubator was, and out of the blue I heard loud tweets and to my happy surprise, 3 babies were running around in the incubator . . . between that time and 8 hours later, we were the proud owners of 11 brand new baby quail. The quail babies are very health and are doing absolutely wonderful. . . we just ordered 24 more eggs from Fishing Products Texas. thank you guys :)

A: I got these eggs for hatching 
It took a while to come from shipping date
They haven't hatch I think shipping took too long the eggs didn't survive

A: No. They are Coturnix.

**Q: Can eggs be shipped to cold climates?**
A: We recommend spring or warmer weather for cold climates to be sure eggs don't freeze.

This was our first time trying to hatch eggs in an incubator!!! It was amazing and just so much fun. . . . All but 2 of our eggs hatched . . . we could not believe it . . . we had miscalculated the hatch date as there are so many different articles that say 16-21 days. We started thinking they should hatch at 17-18 days . . . they did not!! ### ⭐ Terrible fertility!

Day 21- 3 hatched out 19...15% which is terrible. I usually get 50+% on mail order, 80+% on home grown. I opened the 16 unhatched...blank, aka NOT FERTILE! I ordered from Fishing Products of TEXAS purposely because it's Dec & it's still warm in Texas but eggs appear to have been shipped from New England(???) which is cold so fertility is crap. My background, organic farmer, hatching eggs, including EMU which are very difficult, raising quail for over three decades. I moved recently so little choice but to purchase eggs to restart. Perhaps their hatch rate is better come spring but I wouldn't waste your money during the colder months. Very disappointed with the switch from what was supposed to be a warmer climate to the northern, frozen tundra & extremely low hatch rate. I won't purchase from them again. Thumbs waaaay down!
