Review: BMW Z3 "direct fit" in mounting holes, connectors need modification - After buying 3 different sets of 5.25" speakers that do not fit the mounting holes for the kick panel speakers on a 2001 BMW Z3, I tried out these 6" speakers. Good news - they DO FIT the BMW Z3 kick panel speaker mounting holes directly. 6" speakers have fatter spade tabs than the car's female-side spade connectors, which fit 5.25" speaker spade tabs. had to solder some narrower tabs onto an adapter, which was a pain. But, the speakers fit on the car, they connect to the car, and I did not have to cut anything on the back of the plastic car interior speaker panel. Sound is good, maybe very good, but not amazing. Maybe with a more powerful amp, they could unlock more potential, but this "plug and play" project has been a real headache so far, so i'm tabling the amp upgrade for a while. happy with how these turned out; would recommend for other BMW Z3 drivers looking to replace their rotted foam speakers.

A: Yes, it is a complete set of 2 woofers and 2 tweeters. The crossovers are built into the woofers so there will be no crossover to have to worry about mounting as well.

**Q: Hey guys, one simple question, do I need an amplifier for the Rockford Fosgate P165-S 6.5" ? 
I am about to buy ones I neeed to confirm that.**
A: For better sound you should power these with at least 50w/Ch RMS, you can send 35 to woofer 15 to tweets. Im not sure how much  W/Ch your Head unit puts out??? But this way you can crank them w/o distorting them.

**Q: hi...Does they fit for honda accord 2004 sedan?**
A: Yes they will fit your accord your speakers are 6.5 same as these pretty good speakers

**Q: Will these speakers fit in the front doors of my 2005 Scion tC?**
A: The speakers for your Scion are listed as 6.5" speakers. The P1675-S are 6.75" but the extra quarter of a inch should not be an issue and they should fit just fine.

After buying 3 different sets of 5.25" speakers that do not fit the mounting holes for the kick panel speakers on a 2001 BMW Z3, I tried out these 6" speakers. I've been a diehard Rockford Fosgate fan and been using their products for 25 years now, and have been an audiophile since I was a small child. These are a great set of component speakers, and for the price they sound really great and I can really crank the volume with zero distortion on these badboys. I paired these with some full range Rockford 5x7 rear door speakers and a Rockford 12-in sub in my F-150, got it all tuned and dialed in and sounds like im in the front row of a concert. Super impressive. And for the ones out there that honestly don't know much about how a stereo setup should be, no, these do not offer hardly any bass I knew that when I bought them because they are a mid/high component setup they will not offer hardly any bass, but great highs and mid-range sound. If you're looking for bass, hook up a subwoofer, stop expecting so much out of speakers when you are not even dure of their purpose. Yes some factory and door setups do offer decent bass. But it also depends solely on the type of speaker and what they are intended for.
