I get much more life (three to four years) out of the Jabsco Valve than I do out of the Raritan (usually one or two years, but sometimes three). I do have two spares of this valve and one of the duckbill. Don't know why my Jabsco Quiet Flush needs them replaced so often. *by J***R on December 23, 2022* When I replaced the first one, it was full of ceramic bits (which apparently held the valve open). I don't believe the joker valve had failed, it was just full of bits that wouldn't pass through it. Kinda like grandpa's gall bladder. Unfortunately, removing these bits was nearly as painful as grandpa's procedure. Looks like i'm getting ready to do it again. Wish the kid were a little older.
