I am using the 16 gage , 2 conductor copper wire with shield and Drain wire . The outer coating is white plenum and is easily cut or stripped . This is the 4th or 5th roll I have used and it has worked fine for me . The insulator on the 2 main conductors is thick , but a bit delicate when it comes to stripping the insulation off the wire . For inside use this wire is fine as best as I can determine . I use it for signal wire and audio applications . The last 50 feet on a 500 ft. roll has a twist in it to alert you to end of the spool is coming up . You have to open the box to unreel the last 50 feet or so .
