I am 6 ft. 2 inches **Q: I have an adjustable bed with a solid box spring, where would i place this?** A: It probably won't work. **Q: Will it work on a bed that doesn't have the standard bed frame?** A: As long as there is some sort of bed frame or posts underneath to wrap it around it should work. **Q: How does one determine which of the two lengths to order? Based on patient size? Bed size? Anything else?** A: My physical therapist friend who installed my bed rope said to tell you to buy the 160 inch ladder. You have to find the bed frame underneath the end of the bed and wrap that length around it and pull it tight. What we did not like were the instructions. The instructions were very confusing and only addressed the ability to attach to a footboard bed. We do not have a footboard on our bed and have the what I guess is now old-timey metal bed rails with box springs and mattress. A much better job could have been done to explain different ways to attach when no foot board is present. The device itself seems to be very well made.
