Hard to tell from pics and I could see it being either.** A: The best part about this pillow is that you can use it in a variety of different ways. There is no "wrong" way to use it. Email us at support.amazon@casper.com and our team would be happy to share some additional tips and answer any additional questions you might have. **Q: Fairly subjective, but do you think this is wide enough for parent and child to comfortably sit against together?** A: It's a fairly large pillow and while it is optimized for one person, that doesn't mean you can't share with your mini-me! **Q: Pillow arrived folded in half, resulting in the foam shaping like a cashew nut/chunky bottom. Will the foam adjust to the correct shape over time?** A: Mine adjusted, but mostly we sat it flat and laid on the floor on it because it was too puffy for our needs. Now it's about right now that it's thinner and shaped. **Q: Do you get the Casper warranty when purchasing from Amazon?** A: Return it and get a new one. Mine was perfect out of the box ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Versatile and worth the price! *by on Reviewed in the United States 4 July 2026* Though I bought this for sitting up in bed, it’s very versatile: it’s great for elevating my head to relieve sinus congestion and for elevating injured legs. It’s pricey, but so much better than trying to keep pillows stacked as I wish. It’s very well made and just firm enough. I’m glad I bought it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ SO comfy *by on Reviewed in Canada 24 July 2025* Wowza super impressed! It is SO comfortable!! Bought to use in bed as a backrest for nursing our baby coming soon and it is going to be perfect. Don’t hesitate to buy if you want a comfy backrest cushion. You won’t be disappointed. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Head and shoulders can be supported as well as back *by on Reviewed in the United States 31 July 2026* Love this pillow! I had one of the backrest pillows with the side arms before and it was super old. I read an article that rated the best reading-in-bed pillows and this one was on the list. My back doesn't hurt when using it (like it did with the old pillow), and it's tall enough when I lean back my neck and head are supported too. I've been able to use it when lying down to prop my head more when sleeping and have a cold. I like that the cover is washable too. It's not pretty but I don't care since it's so comfortable and versatile! It's worth every penny. ## Frequently Bought Together - Casper Sleep Backrest Pillow, One Size, Gray - Gritin 9 LED Rechargeable Book Light for Reading in Bed - Eye Caring 3 Color Temperatures,Stepless Dimming Brightness,80 Hrs Runtime Small Lightweight Clip On Book Reading Light for Studying --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.de/products/388651516-sleep-backrest-pillow-one-size-gray](https://www.desertcart.de/products/388651516-sleep-backrest-pillow-one-size-gray) --- *Product available on Desertcart Germany* *Store origin: DE* *Last updated: 2026-10-07*
