Review: Great effects processor! Okay instructions. - I’ve had an older Zoom model for quite a few years. So, I knew it would be good. It’s even better than I thought. There’s a minor learning curve for getting set up but not too bad. The manual could use some work but it’s not bad enough to lower the rating of the device. The ready-made patches are okay but definitely needed some tweaking. The good news is that the tweaks really make a huge difference. ADVICE: If you plan to use it with an amp, pay the extra money for the model with the expression pedal. If playing thru a PA System or similar, you probably won’t need the expression pedal. BTW, to use it with a PA System (direct) make sure to turn ‘on’ the mic effect as indicated in the manual. Oddly, it says this specifically on the Zoom Website but it’s not as clear in the instructions. Anyway, it’s a great effects processor with lots of flexibility! The Website updates are a nice touch! BTW, to do the update, simultaneously press the two actual switches before turning on the unit. Otherwise, you’ll receive an error messages. Saw this question posted on several sites so it’s apparently a common mistake. Good luck!
Review: A little powerhouse that take up very little room! - WOW. Zoom, you may have just made the best thing out there. I've had this thing for 2 days, and have already programmed more pedalboard combos than I had on my previous board after years of use! WOW. The gui was so intuitive, I didn't even really need the manual. I did better just by diving in, and watch 2 youtube videos to answer a couple of simple questions to get me started, once I knew the bottom right flipper did the toggle for stomp or program mode, and what the menu and enter knob on the upper right did, that's all I needed. Boom, off and running. Before the first evening was over, I had done the firmware update, downloaded one new set of patches (just to test it), then moved a ton of preprogrammed patches to higher up, and started to create my own mods on the first few #s. By the second night, I had added a few more, tweaked them, named them all, and tried them on my favorite cover songs for my band, and feel confident enough to swap it in and use it on my next gig! LOVE IT! Can you tell?..

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A little powerhouse that take up very little room!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An excellent, well built unit with very realistic sounds (32 bit). And it’s relatively easy to use.
*by C***S on March 27, 2020*

The unit is extremely well built. I didn’t realize it was going to have a metal casing and the switches are solid. Make sure you turn the mic simulator on for just about every speaker cabinet setting. Without it all the amp sounds have a bad fuzz to them which is really noticeable with headphones. Additionally, moving from 16 bit to 32 bit is awesome. The processing power is so much better and there’s barely any noise added to the original signal. If you’re looking for new computerized effects don’t waste your money on anything below 32 bit. It’s now the standard and the newer the effects normally the better they are in my opinion.
