The connector for the wires has to be cut due to the fact they don’t include the other connector. Overall the speakers rock! Review: Got them to replace older speakers in my boat. Tested them to make sure they work but boat is in winter storage. They sound great. I was happy to find that I can bypass the need for the remote by connecting LED speaker lights to a LED strip already on my boat and colors and patterns will all match using that remote.
