I charged it up and went out for an evening walk on a cloudy night around the fields. upon first usage at maybe max 100 yards distance I was a bit disappointed I'm not sure what I fully expected, I had also taken my olight speaker 4 pro and marauder 2 so I could do a little comparison. While playing and walking I came to the bigger fields and wow I was blown away by how far this torch actually goes and it dawned on me what it's actual purpose is for. It's not super bright but it does keep it's brightness for well over a 1000yds. I can tell you since getting this a week ago I have been taking it out every night 😂 it doesn't get old. If you need a turns night to day torch then maybe go for a different type but if it's a thrower you need this little beast is amazing I love it. Also fits right into a high rise single picatinny rail if your into that sort of thing.
