I was in search for mic clips that could hold the Behringer wireless mics I purchased, because the standard mic clip is too small for them (due to the battery storage area in the handle) — so these were perfect! I didn’t even need four, but I’m glad I have backups/extras for future use.
Review: Great for the price! - Work fine for "Leave the mic in the stand". Even if you do handle them, they are good. Probably not the best for wild crazy performances. I don't understand comments saying they only work on "straight-bodied" mic. I've been using them with SM58's for years.

**Q: Will this work for attaching a 3/8inch diameter thin mic to a boom tripod stand?**
A: You have to think about the direction the mike will be facing after you put it in the clip.
It will adjust!!! 90 degrees or so.

**Q: will these mic clips open wide enough to hold the typical thickness of a wireless mic?**
A: These will open wide enough for a typical wireless microphone. 
I will warn you that the springs in these designs, can pop out, leaving no clamping force. It is rare but can happen.
