**Q: Do you wash container before adding spices ?**
A: I did, but don't buy this device.  I bought two of them and it was a bad investment.  Broke off the carousel mount (both of them, right around the return expired).  Containers not tightly sealed, every spice became moist.  Good idea bad execution.

**Q: One spice containers showed up missing the clear plastic cylinder that controls the release of the spices when the dial is turned, can it be replaced?**
A: No, good idea and a terrible execution of product and support.

**Q: How many different measurements does this have?**
A: Three

**Q: What's the difference between select-a-spice classic and select-a-pro?**
A: I don't have it anymore it was not a good product at all

I bought 2 of these black spice Kitchen Art 25003 Select-A-Spice Auto-Measure Carousel to replace the white ones that we bought years ago. They work great stacked. To get the labels, I used a p touch label maker and black with white lettering cartridge to get the exact labels I needed. There are 3 different ways to get spices out of the units , bulk, shaker style, or measured dispensing.
