However the 18650 batteries are a must and are much more tolerant to storage due to their chemistry and with a high mah capacity they offer excellent run time as well. So far after eight weeks of nightly use I am still on the same battery without the need to consider a change. The Lumens of any torch these days seems to be the benchmark, more the better?
