Review: TREMENDOUS VALUE & the BEST WARRANTY IN THE BIZ! - GREAT VALUE FOR THE MONEY!! But then again, it’s a Vortex! This is a 4moa red/green dot optic that can easily be changed for brightness and color! I’m older, my kids mention that way too often now, and given my astigmatism, I prefer the green dot setting but many prefer the red so it’s great to have the option! Sometimes I switch back and forth just to see if I’m actually getting younger? Benjamin Button’s got nothing on me! 😂 Best part is u can adjust the colored dot brightness way down for long range, 100yard+ shooting, the dot is more like a 2moa dot or less, in this setting! Cranker up for close range and you’ve got the best of all worlds! Also night-vision compatible for you “snoopers.” Very accurate optic with 1” groups at 100 yards zero even with my feeble eyes and shelf ammo! Paired this with the UTG Super Slim Flip up front and rear sights, and the Vortex Strikefire II with the cantelever mount can be adjusted on the rail for a lower 1/3 co-witness view with the UTG sights! Obviously your results may differ pending your line of sight on your favorite Gal! Running on a 5.56/.223 Pistol with a 7.5” barrel! She’s tight!! Super easy to install and super easy to sight in, use the smallest dot size setting when sighting in, and remember to shoot with both eyes open! Once you get used to this “both eyes open” style, Target acquisition is super fast and easy even for us old guys! Just remember, OLD GUYS RULE! 😜 Excellent combo and you might want to try the 36/300 yard zero with the 25yard adjusted zero targets for the 5.5" center mass strike zone out to 300 yards. Very impressive and might just become your favorite zeroed yardage? Most shooting ranges accommodate the 25, 50, 75, and 100 yard pins so the 25 yard adjusted zero targets gives you the 25 yard point of aim zero and a 36 yard point of impact zero so you can easily adjust for a 36yard point of impact zero when shooting at the 25 yard pin distance. Not many ranges offer a 36 yard pin so I hope that makes sense for you? Check out Vigilance Elite and ARMA Dynamics for printable targets with caliber details for your shooting range. Watch Shawn Ryan's 36yard zero video and you'll get the picture real quick. Thank you for your service Mr. Ryan! As is so typical of Vortex, this is one great value for the money! Way more features than optics at twice the price, and that extra savings allows for some nice additional mods and extra ammo!! Best of all, there’s the Vortex VIP (VERY IMPORTANT PROMISE) warranty which means that your product purchase is a 100% unlimited lifetime warranty-fully transferable, and no receipt needed. in Vortex’s own words, “VIP stands for a Very Important Promise to you, our customer. We will repair or replace your Vortex product in the event it becomes damaged or defective-at no charge to you. If we cannot repair your product, we will replace it with a product in perfect working order of equal or better physical condition. You see, it doesn’t matter how it happened, whose fault it was or where you purchased it. If you ever have a problem, no matter the cause, we promise to take care of you.” Who does that these days? VORTEX DOES! The only issue is that I didn't get a camo Vortex hat with my purchase as that deal wasn't offered when I purchased the Strikefire II optic. Who doesn't need another camo hat? WAAAAAHH! ;-> God Bless Vortex! Great Products, Great People, Great Warranty, and Great Service! A truly great Company! Drink up me Hearties! YoHo!
Review: Well worth the price and the Vortex warranty is unbeatable - Great sight for the money, coupled with Vortex warranty promise- excellent piece of equipment. I own four of these and have not had any problems at all. They hold their zero, the dot is crisp, controls are easy to use.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Why can’t this item be shipped to California?**
A: this item is perfectly legal in California. I purchased a rifle from a CA dealer and this site was included. But site can be purchased separately. no idea why amazon would not allow this to ship to CA.

**Q: does this have the tall mount compatible to the AR or the short mount for rifles**
A: This comes with a lower 1/3 cowitness, cantilever mount. I have it on an AR and it allows the front sight to sit in the lower one-third of the viewing window, leaving the red dot above the front sight. There is a separate true cowitness mount available from Vortex that will have your red dot line up dead center with the front sight.

**Q: What is the moa on this.?**
A: It's a 4 MOA dot. Not really for precision shooting but works great on a carbine. Holds zero riding in my pickup where it lives...

**Q: how will this handle heavy recoil, like from a performance center s&w .460?**
A: I don't know on a 460. However it does very good with a 308 ar-10. Out of the box no professional tools to mount. Just eyeballing it. Bullseye 1st round on a cold gun that hasn't even been fired. Now has about 50 rounds through it and still on tgt.
