I heard a carnauba was can shine more, especially on dark color cars.** A: I have a black Lexus. I have never used carnauba on it. Meguiar's NXT has given the car a fantastic shine. People complement me on the shine. This is my 4th Lexus and I have used Meguiar's products on all of them **Q: Can i apply when car has a little dust with out scratching paint?** A: No, very bad idea. You will scratch your paint and cause swirl marks by rubbing dirt across the paint. Meguiar's Quik Wax is only meant to be applied to clean car. Use a Quick Detailer to clean off any dust or light debris first if you feel the need to apply a spray wax without doing a full wash first. A Quick Detailer has more lubricity to safely remove contaminates, whereas a spray wax does not. Two very different products and uses. **Q: I have an 08 Vette with light scratches from many hand washes.
