Review: Powerful - After sticking this into my Mosquito Magnet, I was skeptical, this is for sure VERY expensive for just being a sachet of chemicals to attract blood-suckers, but I figured I'd already shelled out the huge amount of $$ to kill these miserable beasts... in for a penny in for a pound, I guess... After 3 days I had a huge dead ball of those Asian Tiger mosquitoes that bite all day long... I still have mosquitos biting me around my front yard, but we'll see what happens after the next couple of weeks. THe numbers of dead bughs in the trap has exploded so this attractant is definitely working I would suggesting trying the Mosquito magnet versions first, if you can find them since this sachet doesn't exactly fit the trap very well, but I do feel that it is working well.

**Q: What is the shelf life?**
A: As long as it is in the aluminium packaging it will not expire. Once unpacked and placed in the trap it will last for two months.

**Q: can it be used in skeeter vac (blue rhino)?**
A: Yes, the BG-Sweetscent also works with with this trap.

**Q: Do I need to replace the bait if it gets wet? The entire trap got soaked in rain.**
A: I have not needed to do that with mine.  The only reason to replace the bait is that the trap stops attracting mosquitos. If I am still getting mosquitos in my trap, I think I can safely assume the bait is still working.

**Q: Does this bait only work for asian tiger and yellow fever mosquitoes?**
A: I don't know what kind we have, but it didn't work for ours :(  I'm sorry I can't be more helpful!

On the fence about effectiveness. The first time we used it in the biogents unit, we were surprised at the number of mosquitoes it caught, although not nearly as much as some other people on reviews, but that could be the area that we live in. Bought the replacement packets, and didn’t notice really any scent at all, and after having it on for three days straight, I could see mosquitoes hovering in the area, but very few in the unit net, so I’m not sure whether it’s working or not. I’ll have to check it again Over the next several weeks and see whether it’s worth some money.
