This stuff is more watery and pigmented (as expected) and didn’t stain the practice skins but also barely retained inside line work after wiping. I highly recommend just practicing on oranges or other fruit with a thick skin. It’s cheaper and you can still eat the fruit after. Ink retains very well and it’s more representative of skin with the angled shape and texture. There doesn’t seem to be any good skins on desertcart for practicing with ink. They all seem like private labeling from the same factory. They’re good for practicing line work with blades but that’s about it. I heard you can oil or add Vaseline to the practice skin to help stop staining and help retention, but for now I’m done with test skins and will just use fruit. It’s so much better and I already have it on hand. I guess the microblading tool doesn't take the ink too well, is the best way I can describe it. Cartridges do though. It is great for practicing your ombre brows and powder brows.
