Review: This is an incredibly good value - highly accurate - I already have a set of setup blocks from Veritas that I was only marginally happy with, so given the discounted price for these, I decided to try it out, and was pleasantly surprised. I measured each block, both ends (and all ends for the 1-2-3 block), with a set of Husky digital calipers. The calipers are precise to 0.0005" and I trust their accuracy. These blocks were accurate beyond what I could measure with the calipers. Whatever the decimal value of a fraction worked to be, the calipers either reported it exactly or rounded up or down, meaning these blocks are machined more precisely than my calipers can read. So in otherwords, these are at least 5 ten thousandths of an inch or better accuracy. I'm not a machinist so I can't speak to that level of tolerance, but for any kind of woodworking these are more than sufficient. What I think I like most about these is the thickness direction is also easily identified via the side with an arrow. One of the major grievances I have with my Veritas blocks is they do not identify the side that is supposed to be referenced, so when you get close to the 1/2" size, it's a guessing game as to which side is the right one unless you take a moment to look carefully or measure. With these, they are clearly marked, and the 1/2 block is 1/2" on the money on the correct direction, and just 0.0005" over on the other direction, so either direction is acceptable if you need a half inch reference. The other thing I disliked about the Veritas blocks is the thinner ones are curved in the short direction The 1/32th and 1/16th Veritas blocks were made of extruded aluminum, whereas these EANOSIC blocks are machined dead flat. That means they are accurate from center to edge, whereas the Veritas ones are off +/- 20 thousandths due to the curve. And yet another thing that this EANOSIC set does better is the case it comes in. The Veritas ones come in separate cases and the foam was falling apart and not holding them in place. This set is well packaged, and the case is a proper storage case for them. While it doesn't have as many blocks as the complete Veritas set has, it has all the important ones, including nominal 3/4 ply and nominal 1/2 ply. Very happy with this purchase, and I HIGHLY recommend it over the Veritas set.

I strongly recommend the EANOSIC blocks over the iGaging blocks for the following reasons: I first ordered the iGaging setup blocks for $70 dollars and, although very accurate, the finish was blotchy and several blocks appeared stained or blemished. The color varied greatly from block to block, with some being a deep blue while others were much lighter. Additionally, the set I received had two 3/32" blocks and no 1/4" block; which led me to believe there was no quality control going on at the factory prior to shipping. I used them for a while but ended up giving them away. Next, I ordered a set of the red blocks from EANOSIC for $60 ($10 dollars less then iGaging), and to say I'm pleased with them is an understatement. Both come with a good case that holds the bars in place; however, the EANOSIC case has a larger, more secure latch, making it much easier to open and close. The finish on the EANOSIC blocks is a beautiful uniform bright red color with deep clear white lettering, and they are much easier to read then the blue iGaging blocks. I checked the tolerances with my caliper and they are very accurate for woodworking needs (as were the iGaging blocks). The main feature I absolutely love are the up-and-down arrows on every block (except the two smallest - not enough room), which allows you to instantly know what side to lay down on the table or tool, thus eliminating any chance of an incorrect setup. This feature alone made choosing the EANOSIC setup blocks over the iGaging blocks a no-brainer for me. Setup blocks are a game changer for any new or seasoned woodworker, and are the easiest way to ensure perfect accuracy when setting up your table saw blade or router bit height, or even measuring dado or rabbet depths. You may think you will only use them occasionally, but now that I own a set I find myself reaching for them all the time, and I keep coming up with new ways to use them. **Q: Where are made?**
A: Made in China. Quality is first rate.

**Q: Shouldn't these be notched for the blade teeth differential?**
A: The setup bars you're thinking of are Carter-branded. They're notched for the teeth, so the bar stays flat against the band saw blade. Those also have a magnet next to the notch so they can stick to the blade or stay together when stacked. Sadly, sticking the magnet of the setup bar to the blade causes the markings on the setup bar to face the fence. Also, the number of bars in the Carter set is very small, (5 bars total) meaning you get far fewer bar sizes. This EANOSIC set has about three times as many bar sizes included and it also includes a 1-2-3 block, which is useful for a wide variety of things. I originally got the Carter set first, but using them became annoying. Now I'm back on here to buy a bigger set like this one. I finally decided it's too much hassle to frequently do the fractional math in your head for combining multiple bars of the Carter set to create any value other than the 5 bar sizes. With a big set like this one, you just grab the bar that matches the size you want and you're done. Plus, it's easy to get around the lack of a magnet and a notch. I always used the bars sitting on the table surface between the fence and the blade so the magnet was never really needed. Instead of the notch, you just slide the bar so it touches the blade but doesn't touch the teeth. So, my advice is to save a little money and get 3x as many sizes of bars, by buying a set like this one. Hope this helps.

**Q: Why not metric version**
A: Just multiply the numbers on the blocks by 25.4, and you'll have the metric version.

Kidding.  I think iGaging makes a metric set.

**Q: Can it be use as a spacer for welding?**
A: As long as you remove them before you start the weld. I use them for woodworking and they work great.

I already have a set of setup blocks from Veritas that I was only marginally happy with, so given the discounted price for these, I decided to try it out, and was pleasantly surprised. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Accurate!

I wasn't sure what to expect with these blocks but was pleasantly surprised. The plastic case is decent. I think it would probably keep locked if dropped. Although it would probably crack. The surface finish on the blocks is nice with no visible machining marks. The anodized finish is nice and consistent. The laser marking is sharp. Best of all these blocks are very accurate. As measured with a decent set of digital calipers, most of the blocks were dead-on for thickness. The biggest deviation was below .001" which starts to get close to the accuracy of my measuring device. For the light setup work that I plan on using these for, I think these will work great. Being aluminum, I suspect they won't hold up to heavy use and abuse, but at this price, you aren't paying for that.
