Not sure which specific drive you have. You may want to check the manufacturer’s website against the model number **Q: Specifications say: Batteries ‎1 A batteries required. What does this mean?** A: That is false information. The SSD works without batteries. I see it also says Optical Drive Type = ‎BD-R. Thank you so much!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Intel 1 TB Enterprise SSD *by J***B on 9 December 2019* These are great Enterprise SSD's, mine is model D3-S4510 1TB, (960GB), 3D NAND TLC, with good headroom for PBW or TBW, (Total bytes written) a gauge of how long before an SSD wears out, yes, they do wear out. The size is a standard 2.5" drive. I compared these to Samsung, SanDisk, WD, and found these to be the best and most cost effective for my use in a Server as a RAID array. The 4k read is among the higher ratings, the 4k write is a little slower but in a server RAID environment it won't make a difference as I have a good buffer.
