This lightweight blanket is SO awesome. It's bigger; lighter; compact storage; it definitely repelled water and sand. Sand still gets everywhere, cause sand is sand... but it shakes off and cleans up so easily! The corner pockets help keep it from flying away, but they're definitely not enough on their own to keep it still. It comes with stakes, but I've never tried those in sand. 🤷‍♀️ I had a pop up tent on top. My only issue is pretty minute. It doesn't fold back up nicely when you’re on your own. It's a two person job when there's a constant breeze; BUT it does shove back into the bag to get it home to retry. I love my new beach addition. It worked great. I captured some of its magic, but I'm a terrible videographer.
