The mighty RTX 4090 see less than a 2% bottleneck on a PCIe 3.0 x16 slot, and less than an 8% bottleneck on a PCIe x16 2.0 slot. By the time anyone has to worry about such a thing, the CPU in that older system will be the bottleneck. **Q: This gpu has 3 connections , can i use the splitted cables (2x 6+2) that comes with my rm750x ?** A: You would need 3x 8 pin connectors. I still air cool my comp and I'm afraid to close up my box anymore(case is old). Moving forward, it might be near the time to fully water cool systems the way the CPU's and GPU's generate heat. This GPU has handled anything I've thrown at it with class. But these babies take a lot of juice to power, 3 8-pin plugs may have many scrambling for new Power Supplies.
