My alternatives were: to resolve the issue using email and chat support, or return the device for refund. I reluctantly chose the latter. This problem leaves me with a problem with Topdon UK proposing an alternative and my now slightly cynical eye. I have several other TOPDON devices and have previously been very pleased with both the quality and performance of TOPDON products this issue has made me more cautious I should add that i used the compatibility check before purchase. My advice is be cautious before buying and spending significant funds on a useless product because you relied on previous purchase experience.
