Usually, penlights span a bit longer than the length of a standard pen but the total exterior look especially the design & finish, the 3-mode light switch choices, & durable exterior seems like it will withstand time. I use it in my medical profession & so far, the ones I need to examine comes out quickly distinct under its brightness.

**Q: Why doesn't my new iyp365 start on medium or have a brighter low mode like my old ones?**
A: I bought one almost a year ago and another last week.  They function similar with the “4” settings, picking up where it was last.

**Q: What are the lumens on the medium setting?**
A: High-Medium-Low
...Nichia: 125-25-1.5
...Cree: 200-40-3

**Q: Can the pocket clip be removed?**
A: Yes. The clip is quite handy, though.

**Q: Where does unit need to be sent for warranty repair?  Are there any shipping or other charges for repair from repairing facility?**
A: I would just buy s new one instead of worrying g about repairs. They are inexpensive.
