**Q: Are the replacement bulbs expensive?**
A: It is not a bulb, it is an LED.

**Q: Will it work with the nightstick helment mount?**
A: There are several helmet mounts but there is no mount for this unit.  Look at the xpp-5418 series.

**Q: Can this use rechargeable AA batteries?**
A: With other batteries than prescribed in the manual the Nightstick no longer meets to the certification conditions. It is possible but in a ATEX or Ex environment not recommended.

I needed a flashlight for work, and it needed to be Intrinsically Safe, this one looked ideal, and so it turns out. It comes with the type-certification certificate which is important for me.It uses AA batteries, and it makes sense to use good-quality ones (which is all it means by "premium" in the description.I some people tried using rechargables and slightly larger batteries - and were surprised that they did not fit??This is intrinsically safe, you should not be opening it every few days to recharge the batteries, if you need that but a flashlight with a charging port. Personally I prefer flashlights that are ready to use without charging, and I always have new batteries available if they need changing.The flashlight itself is VERY good. A good clear beam covering a good area. The clip in addition to the wrist-strap is a great addition.Lastly, the price is simple excellent for a an Atex Intrinsically safe light, and half the price of many comparable models..I am in the UK and it arrived from the US in 10 days with free delivery.

This is a really handy light- I used it for checking petroleum products in tanks ( checking the level)Drafts on barges at night and watching my pathway at night- Tough and color is perfectNot heavy and the clip will hold very wellI have purchased these whenever I saw them in stores . Very Bright and Tough - I have this model and another model at my door
